After the success of the open house that took place in 2016, Barberán opened their doors again at their facilities in Castelldefels (Barcelona) the past February 12th and 13th to show a fully working Single-Pass digital printing line for corrugated industry. The production line was fully equipped with the last technologic development from Barberán and their partners.

During this days, where the assistance rounded more than a hundredth of international participants, the Jetmaster 1750 was presented while producing at a speed of 80 meters per minute. The line, with a feeder, unloader and stacker, can print panels with a width up to 1.750mm. Based on digital inkjet Single-Pass technology, Jetmaster digital presses print directly without contact with the subtract and on industrial production. They can print directly from a photographic archive or a computer design without mechanical adjustments.

The Open House included technical presentations on the account of the own company and some of their collaborators, such as ESKO, ink and peripheral machinery providers, and a success story of one of the first clients to incorporate Barberán’s Single-Pass technology on its production.

Jetmaster series and G7 Master qualification
Bennet Packaging, Abbott Action, U.S. Display Group, DeLine Box&Display and Custom Packaging have all been awarded with the qualification G7 Master, granted to installations, equipments or systems, and all of them work with a Jetmaster press from Barberán. This high resolution chromatic certification identifies a high control capability in the graphic production process, from trial to print, guaranteeing color quality and consistency accurately.

Process optimization
One of the innovations that was introduced was a new software, adapted to the needs of the clients, with new capabilities and a new interface. It is a platform meant to optimize internal processes and better the Jetmaster industrial presses productivity. This new tool is an intuitive and powerful software that includes complementary machinery to the production line, easing the integration of Jetmaster presses in plant processes. This new solution fastens design speed and the productive process with a bettered user experience, simplified processes and gathered controls in a single screen. It is a simple, intuitive and daily use tool.

A unique, flexible and versatile tool
The Variable Data system from Barberán was also shown; a unique, flexible and versatile tool for the packaging industry. It is the first one for Single-Pass digital press. This system, created for high production installations, allows the personalization of a base design with messages, images, bar codes or QR codes, on real time and at a high printing speed. With this system, the user can make a single box that, with a complete personalization at an industrial speed of up to 80 meters per minute, is able to satisfy each client’s necessities. This variable data system is a software optional that is ready to be installed on any Jetmaster press, even on those for deco or signage industries.
