Indonesian Printer Taps Tensor for New Book Press Order

Press release from the issuing company

Woodridge, Ill. – Located in Central Jawa, Indonesia, PT Macanajaya Cemerlang is a large multifaceted printing company with three (3) printing plants, two in Central Jawa, and one in South Sumatra.

In March 2018, Tensor International, LLC was awarded a contract for a new book press consisting of two T-400 4-high printing towers, and one H-50 folder.

The 40,000 iph rated Tensor T400 printing units will be equipped with remote inking and spray bar dampening. Tensor, along with their sister company DCOS Automation Sweden, has designed into the configuration a unit shaftless drive system, integrated press console, and an automatic camera-based registration and cut-off control system.

The shaftless heavy duty H-50 folder is equipped with commercial grade quarter folder along with a complete signature perforation package.

Mr Sugeng Sentosa, CEO of PT Macanajaya Cemerlang explains “We desired a heavy duty, high durability machine to fulfill our 24 hour a day production environment and the found the Tensor T400 to be the right press for our needs.”

The T-400 will be added to their existing Solna press and will produce high quality 4-color text books.

“We continue to have a high level of success in international sales and the T-400 design allows us to offer a modern high-performance press that meets the varying commercial printing needs of global markets,” says Mike Pavone, COO and VP Sales for Tensor International.

The equipment shipped in early September 2018 and installation will be completed by the end of November 2018.
