INX International Showcases Solutions to Address Corrugated Market Challenges at TAPPI CorrExpo

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, Ill. – Addressing the constant changes associated with the paper packaging market, INX International Ink Co. (booth 312) will exhibit a pair of ink products at the TAPPI CorrExpo that are adaptable and developed specifically for today’s market. INX representatives will explain how digital inks BSR-06 UVIJ and INXhrc™ improve efficiencies and maximize the return on investment, September 25-26 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

“This segment of the market is constantly evolving. Sophisticated conventional presses, ever-changing substrates, rapidly evolving digital solutions, new guidelines or changing regulations, and growth or turnover in the workforce present complex challenges to inks and coatings,” remarked Jim Wegemer, Director of National Accounts for INX International.

“Our product offerings must satisfy a broad array of marketplace expectations,” explained Wegemer. “This involves increased speed, the ability to print a wide range of changing substrates including recycled, and digital systems that are growing each month. On top of that, the number of regulations continues to expand, especially those related to food packaging. Raw material supply and costs are ongoing issues. It is the same with the workforce situation; customers are hiring new people who have little or no experience. So it is imperative that our products be as user-friendly as possible, while meeting all of our customers’ expectations.”

Both the BSR-06 UVIJ and INXhrc inks do.

BSR-06 UVIJ digital inks are designed specifically for Barberãn Jetmaster printers. Manufactured in the United States, they are available in four to six colors: CMYK, plus Orange and Violet or Orange and Green. Combined with INX AC9139 UVIJ, a water-based digital primer, these products produce excellent print quality and superior flexibility of the cured ink on the corrugated substrate, in addition to sharp, brilliant images with very low odor and the best rub resistance available.

INXhrc water-based inks have replaced over two million pounds annually of petro-chemically derived resins, waxes and additives. The eco-friendly, fast drying ink offers clean, renewable and sustainable ingredients that are free of allergens, nanomaterials, flurochemicals, fanal pigments, heavy metals, latex and PTFE. When used in tandem with INXPlus™ dispersions, INXhrc provides for the strongest finished inks available with excellent resolubility and transfer properties and other benefits.

INX specialists will be available in booth 312 to provide more information about these inks and others. If you are not attending TAPPI CorrExpo, visit www.inxinternational.com for more information.
