TLMI Announces the Association’s Partnership with Affinity HR Group to deliver Human Resources Assistance to Members

Press release from the issuing company

Milford, Ohio – TLMI announces that the association has partnered with Affinity HR Group to give members a range of human resource offerings including general HR support, recruiting, and retention services. TLMI’s goal in partnering with Affinity is to ensure TLMI member companies of every size have access to high-level HR services at competitive pricing when compared with traditional consultants.

Affinity HR Group works with associations across industries and has an extensive history of serving companies in the printing and packaging sectors. Members of the firm will be attending future TLMI meetings and will be available at the events to provide on-site HR consulting free of charge to member companies at the meetings.

Dan Muenzer, TLMI President, comments, “TLMI is partnering with Affinity HR Group in order to help our members with workforce development and workforce recruitment. Both of these things represent a pillar of the TLMI strategic plan and over the past two years we have done extensive due diligence with our members to identify what their most urgent needs are. What became clear to us during this process is that our members are in need of urgent help with recruitment. We identified that both converter and supplier members need help with general HR practices as well. Affinity HR Group was recommended highly by existing TLMI members. We selected Affinity because they specialize in working with associations and the greater world of print is one of their specialty niches. Members will be able to reach out to Affinity for assistance with everything from putting together a company handbook to recruiting a press operator.”

The TLIM Workforce Committee is currently working with Affinity HR Group in putting together DIY Recruitment Kits that will be made available to all association members. The committee has identified the most critical job functions across the label-printing industry including conventional press operators, digital press operators, ink specialists, etc. The committee will benchmark these nine positions and create personas for the ideal candidates including the best-suited testing protocols and attribute identifiers. The kits will include job descriptions, offer letters, interview questions and testing criteria to ensure TLMI members of every size have the tools they need to recruit quality candidates.
