Kansas City-Based NextPage Installs its Second Eight-Color Komori Lithrone GL40 with H-UV™ to Support Evolving Growth and Expansion

Press release from the issuing company

Rolling Meadows, Ill. – NextPage, a leading provider of data-driven multichannel direct marketing, has installed its second eight-color Komori Lithrone GL40 perfecting press with coater (GL840P/C) and Komori’s proprietary H-UV™ technology. Over the last five years, NextPage has grown through mergers, acquisitions, equipment expansion and expanded service offerings. The purchase of its second Komori press underscores NextPage’s commitment to a continuous investment strategy in the newest and most technologically advanced equipment. Known for offering results-oriented, custom direct marketing solutions, the company’s clients include an impressive roster of name brands in the retail, financial services, insurance and healthcare industries, among others.

“We built our company to grow, so having the advanced technology that allows us to create sophisticated printing applications makes it possible for us to offer more value-added services to our clients,” said Gina Danner, CEO and co-owner of NextPage. “Komori has been a great partner for our company in this venture. Like us, they are in it for the long haul and continue to invest in advancing their technology to ensure we will always produce high quality, exceptional applications that deliver more than ink on paper.”

The GL840P/C offers intuitive technology and subsequent efficiency with automated features, such as the KHS-AI integrated control system and the fully automatic plate-changing system (APC) that cuts makeready time in half. Adding Komori’s H-UV technology to the new press enables NextPage to expand its capabilities related to shortening time to market with the ability to go straight from the press to bindery. Additionally, H-UV makes it possible for NextPage to produce specialty print effects and coating techniques important to the innovative targeted direct mail campaigns and other marketing materials the company offers.

“We are proud to be a strategic partner with the NextPage team. Our GL840 perfecting press with H-UV is the perfect choice for supporting their mission to leverage the latest printing and communication technologies to ensure they are delivering every client a return on investment beyond the printed page,” said Mark Milbourn, vice president of sales for Komori America.
