This feature means that complex algorithms are no longer necessary to convert density to percentages. The CCDot4 DotMeter may be upgraded by customers via the Internet, and additional features may be added to existing units by obtaining the appropriate security code. Key features of predecessor Centurfax CCDot units have been retained, including autocalibration, WYSIWYG viewing, connections to both PCs and Macs, and screen ruling and screen angle analysis.
