Press release from the issuing company

Three-day session at HP facility focused solely on the full lineup of HP Indigo presses and workflows.

Alexandria, Va. –  Following three days of training hosted by HP Indigo at its state-of-the-art training facility in Alpharetta, Ga., 25 new G7 Experts and Professionals were certified by Idealliance, a global thought leader in the graphic communications industry and a non-profit organization with 11 strategically located offices around the world.

Led by Ron Ellis, G7 expert trainer and chair of Idealliance’s Print Properties & Colorimetric (PPC) Council, the training focused solely on the full lineup of HP Indigo presses and workflows. It included live demonstrations and covered the integration of the G7 methodology for calibration, color management, print optimization, and process control on HP Indigo print technology and workflows.

“This was a truly unique opportunity that these HP Indigo users were able to take advantage of with great thanks to HP Indigo U.S.,” says Idealliance Vice President Tim Baechle. “The ability to learn and certify on their equipment and their workflows aligns with both Idealliance’s and HP’s goals to serve the industry and develop leaders in print, packaging, and brand management.

“Being a globally recognized and certified print service provider from Idealliance not only tells brands, brand owners, and print buyers that you are a highly qualified facility in color management and process control, but creates extraordinary repeatable consistency, reduction of waste, downtime, and faster speed to market for your customers,” Baechle continues.

“We were proud to have this group of 25 individuals, including packaging and label producers, publication and other media publishers, major brand owners and print buyers, software and workflow suppliers, educational leaders, OEM support technicians, and consultants, participate in this training opportunity to join the global G7 community as G7 Experts and G7 Professionals,” says Jordan Gorski, Director of Certification Programs for Idealliance.
