Muller Martini Showcases its Vareo Perfect Binder at Dscoop

Press release from the issuing company

Visitors saw live demonstrations of this highly popular finishing solution.

Muller Martini recently participated in Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative), a global community of thousands of HP users who are focused on growing their digital print business through best practices, networking, and education. Muller Martini is a proud partner of this effort.

For the first time, Muller Martini was able to invite a select group of non-HP users to the Dallas event who got to take advantage of educational sessions while networking with owners, operators and sales and marketing professionals who represent the cutting-edge in digital print manufacturing. In addition, Muller Martini demonstrated the operator-friendly Vareo Perfect Binder whose affordable price point makes it a viable option for those looking for true one-off, print on demand, and short-run batch production. The Vareo boasts an excellent price-performance ratio, as well as:

  • The most advanced thickness-variable PUR nozzle technology available.
  • Best-in-class book quality, regardless of offset or digital production.
  • Greatest net throughput achieved through either handfed or automatic infeed.

Stan Potma of Hemlock Printers Ltd., a leading print provider in North America, was the winner of Muller Martini’s 50th Anniversary Backpack drawing.

In addition, Andy Fetherman, Muller Martini’s Vice President of Sales and Technology, led a Digital Finishing conference session which addressed today’s market imperative for more intelligent, flexible finishing solutions. Participants learned why finishing systems and workflows must be re-engineered to welcome hybrid finishing solutions that can integrate offset with toner-based or digital inkjet, as well as cut-sheet and/or roll-fed processes.
