Offset is still a viable technology for in-plants
Lake Tahoe, Nev. – RMGT will be sponsoring the 53rd annual Association of College & University Printers (ACUP+) conference, which will be held April 29 – May 3, 2018, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Offset technology is still used in more than half of all in-plant operations, according to a 2017 In-plant Graphics magazine article. And RMGT is the perfect choice for operations that want all the benefits of large, modern offset press, in a compact footprint.
“It’s Simple Math,” said Kian Hemmen, Western Region Sales Manager—RMGT, Print & Finishing Solutions, who will be representing RMGT at the event. “Offset has continued to evolve right alongside digital presses, and today the tipping point for profitable runs can be just a few hundred sheets. And RMGT presses are more affordable than most shops might suspect. I am looking forward to connecting with the attendees of ACUP+ and helping to educate them on the options on the market today.”
Hemmen will be on hand at the event to educate attendees on how digital and offset presses complement each other, as well as demonstrate the cost savings in-plant printers can enjoy with the right press. He will be available to answer questions about the RMGT presses and technologies, as well as discuss how offset is still a vibrant and profitable technology for in-plants across the country.
