Press release from the issuing company

New York, N.Y. – The NY Metro Idealliance Chapter and Printing Industries Alliance jointly invite you to join them on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 for a networking event and brief presentation titled “Positioning Print Against Digital Advertising”. The event will take place at Club 101, 101 Park Avenue at 40th Street in Manhattan from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Print Drives America Foundation is a national print advocacy initiative registered as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization. The speaker is Marty Maloney, the Executive Vice President of the Printing Industries Alliance, and also the Executive Director of the Foundation.

Explaining the event, Maloney commented “we constantly are asked by printers ‘how do we respond to customers that say they are applying some print dollars to digital advertising?’ Maloney continues that this event will give attendees the ammunition and facts they need to respond intelligently and position printed items such as direct mail as the clear choice”.

Tim Freeman, President of the Printing Industries Alliance, commented “this event is an excellent opportunity for printers and mailers to network. The Park Avenue venue is perfect and if the weather cooperates we may use the adjoining private outdoor patio for drinks.”

To register contact Kim Tuzzo at 800 777 4742 or online at www.PIAlliance.org Tickets are $85 per person or $65 for additional people from the same company.

Marty Maloney stated that “We are very pleased with the rapid acceptance of the Print Drives America initiative. We need to give print a stronger voice to communicate print’s attractive features that create a strong consumer preference for print, to demonstrate its amazing ROI, and to advance print’s leadership position”.

Marty Maloney further commented, ‘’we need to compare our industry against other communication media and let companies know that print is the number one communication media and in fact larger than all other communication media combined. We also need to continually educate the marketplace on the effective use of print.

All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible. Funds for the Foundation’s marketing and PR efforts will be raised from both printers and vendors without regard to geographic limitations. Contributions can be accepted in any amount and frequency. Suggestions will be made by using annual sales as a guideline. Contributors do not need to be PIA members. Please contact Marty Maloney for further information and how to become a founding member at [email protected] or 203 912 0804.
