PIA Adds Adobe-Focused Courses to iLearning Center

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Printing Industries of America recently launched two additional course options that will sharpen prepress skills for Adobe InDesign and PDF creation. The courses take under two hours to complete and are included in the offerings made available to Printing Industries of America printer members as an included, free benefit.

The first new course, Creating PDFs for Print Production, focuses on PDF creation as the cornerstone of the prepress file workflow and bolsters fundamental knowledge of presets and settings optimal for digital and offset printing projects.

The second new course, InDesign Data Merge for VDP, uses two sample projects to teach learners how to properly prepare, sort, and export raw data using Microsoft Excel; merge and update data in InDesign; and export PDFs for digital printing.

The two new courses continue to round out the robust offerings in Printing Industries of America’s recently relaunched iLearning Center, which offers a variety of courses and premium certifications in print production, sales, marketing, customer service, and Lean manufacturing from a convenient online platform.
