Graph Expo & Converting Expos Reach Out To Canadian Audiences

Press release from the issuing company

GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO 2000, North America's largest and most complete prepress, printing, publishing and converting industry event, will aim a special appeal at Canadian visitors. "Canadian Day" at GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO will take place on Tuesday, September 26, the third day of the show. It will feature a half-day marketing conference designed to help Canadian show visitors seize sales opportunities throughout North America in the post-NAFTA era. The conference is co-sponsored by Canadian Printer magazine and by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), the show's producer. In addition, the conference will add perspective to what show visitors see among the 500-plus manufacturer and supplier exhibits, filling 425,000 net square feet of display space at McCormick Place (that's roughly the size of 25 football fields). 45,000 industry professionals are expected to take part in GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO on September 24-27, 2000. "As the premiere annual industry event in the Americas, GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO has always drawn strong attendance from Canadian markets, and its Chicago location makes it particularly convenient for travelers from throughout Canada," noted GASC President Regis J. Delmontagne. A highlight of the Canadian Day conference will be a panel discussion in which senior managers from three Canada-based printing and converting companies discuss their experiences in finding, attracting and keeping print business in the United States. The panel will be moderated by Marg Macleod, president of the training/consulting firm IBEC. Visitors can obtain complete information about GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO, and register for the exhibition, at the Graphic Arts Show Company web site, www.gasc.org.
