Cutting-Edge Technologies Sought for 2018 InterTech™ Technology Awards

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Printing Industries of America (PIA) is currently seeking cutting-edge print and graphic arts technologies for the 2018 InterTech™ Technology Awards program. The annual competition hosted by PIA honors truly innovative technologies set to shape the future of print and graphic communications.

Manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and software are encouraged to enter by June 1, 2018, with an entry discount available through March 31, 2018. Full details on entry requirements and fees can be found at http://www.printing.org/intertech.

"For 40 years the awarded technologies have been a harbinger of the trends altering the future of our industry," said Jim Workman, Vice President, Technology and Research at Printing Industries of America.

Since 1978, the InterTech™ Technology Awards have honored technologies predicted to have a major impact on graphic communications and related industries. Past honorees have introduced entirely new products and services that have revolutionized ways of working and enabled printers to operate more efficiently. Entrants are encouraged to review past years' honorees.

The InterTech™ Technology Awards will be presented among print industry leaders at the Premier Print Awards and InterTech Technology Awards Gala on Sunday, September 30, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Honorees receive the InterTech™ Lucite Star and are featured in industry publications, news releases, conference presentations, and a special InterTech™ booklet sent to printing companies.
