'Informative and relaxed' Roland DG Creative Centre Experience Day hailed a success

Press release from the issuing company

Clevedon, UK – Roland DG UK recently invited customers to get inspired at its Creative Centre Experience Day. Held on 1st November 2017 in Roland’s renowned Clevedon-based Creative Centre, the free-to-attend event showcased 50 ways to make money with Roland DG technology, and highlighted how companies could boost their profits by targeting emerging and often-untapped markets.

The Creative Centre Experience Day showcased the power and potential of Roland DG technology and demonstrated how it can bring new ideas and applications to life. Visitors were able to freely explore the Creative Centre, the inspirational hub of Roland DG UK, and attend valuable educational sessions scheduled throughout the day.

Joe Wigzell, Roland DG UK’s Academy and Creative Centre Manager, was on hand throughout the event to answer questions about the printers on display and offer tips and tricks on how to get the best results from Roland DG technology. Roland DG’s Academy’s enlightening workshops and tutorials also took place focusing on all aspects of print – from hardware and software updates through to the very latest applications. These courses enabled customers to learn more about Roland DG products and how to get the best out of them – from the design process through print production to finishing.

Feedback from attendees has been very positive, with all stating that they would be keen to return to the Creative Centre to further explore the opportunities and applications opened up by investing in Roland DG technology. Visitors also highlighted the informative and relaxed nature of the event and confirmed that their attendance had been very much worthwhile.

Ricardo Da Corte, Owner, from Croydon-based Minuteman Press attended primarily for the educational sessions and was pleased to have the opportunity to talk with knowledgeable staff, gaining valuable insight into the extensive capabilities of his Roland DG printer/cutter. He found the sessions informative, relaxed and fun, and stated he learnt everything he needed to know about getting the most from his VersaCAMM printer at the event.

Chas Rust, Proprietor at Rushden-based Go For Leisure, attended primarily to find out more about UV printing. As well as gaining some valuable information on UV primers for printing special materials such as glass, Chas was also pleased to get the opportunity to discover more about vehicle wrapping – a sector he had not previously considered.

In fact, UV printing was a big draw on the day, with many people attending specifically to discover more about the latest products and developments for UV print production – in particular the new Roland DG VersaUV S-Series which served as the centrepiece of the day’s live UV printing demonstration.

Derry Bryan, Managing Director of Dudley-based The Label Centre Ltd, wanted to take an up-close look at the new belt-fed VersaUV S-Series and was pleased to see the printer producing a number of unique applications. He also highlighted the benefits of being able to speak with Roland product experts in a relaxed and informative setting.
