"As it is Enfocus' mission to be a leader in making PDFs easy and reliable for the marketplace, we're not stopping with technology support for PDF/X creation and checking. As a major PDF proponent, it is also Enfocus' responsibility to cooperate with industry groups, vendors, and users to successfully forward PDF/X adoption. "As a result, we're offering free educational and communications tools for what is anticipated to be a large PDF/X user community." Camps says Enfocus has gained experience in bringing extra educational and communications tools to the PDF user community as a result of its involvement with European industry associations such as Medibel+, Febelgra, Oppo and Sicogif.(1) "Our customers have made us pretty competent in this arena," he says, adding, "We've been testing, fine-tuning, and helping people make better PDFs and perfect their PDF workflows for a long time."
