Bristol, United Kingdom - Narrow web ink specialist Pulse Roll Label Products attended the world’s largest international label event in Brussels with its biggest presence ever at a Labelexpo show. A focus on ‘colour’ and ‘coding’ saw over 30 PureTone live colour matchings and more than 250 PureCode laser marking demonstrations take place on stand 3C60, both proving extremely popular with visitors.
Sarah Harriman, Marketing & Communications Manager, Pulse Roll Label Products said, “Labelexpo is a really important event for us and this year totally exceeded all of our expectations. With our biggest presence ever, we had many exciting new developments to share and being in Brussels also gave us the opportunity to promote our industry partnerships and collaboration with other market leading experts. Labelexpo provides an excellent platform for us to showcase our products and present innovative solutions for the worldwide label industry, and this year was, without doubt, our best show yet.”
New product developments included a new food packaging compliant UV flexo tactile varnish, in collaboration with Sandon Global, Creation Reprographics and Hamilton Adhesive Labels; PureAqua, a new water-based flexo ink system and a unique UV screen solution, PureScreen, offering significant cost-savings for flexo printers. The company’s partnership with Edale for narrow web inks was announced and a newly rebranded narrow web product portfolio was unveiled.
Kevin Green, Technical Sales Manager, Pulse Roll Label Products also presented on the topic of manufacturing for quality, performance and printability at the inaugural Inks, Coatings and Varnishes Workshop hosted by the Label Academy at Labelexpo on Wednesday 27th September.
In addition to exhibiting at Labelexpo and participating in the Label Academy Workshop, Pulse Roll Label Products also hosted its third global sales conference in Brussels for its international partner network on Sunday 24th September. Over 30 delegates from 17 countries attended the pre-Labelexpo event which included guest speakers from DataLase, ESKO and Troika Systems.
Volker Michel, who joined the company as Sales Director only a week prior to the show opening, said, “I am really excited to be back in the ink industry and to be a part of the Pulse Roll Label Products team. Our pre-show sales conference provided the opportunity for me to meet with our partners who represent us in international markets and Labelexpo 2017 itself proved to be an extremely busy and successful show. A significant number of new sales enquiries were received from both UK and international customers. We look forward to following up many interesting business opportunities and to developing new relationships with label printers located around the world.”
