CRON-ECRM to Exhibit at FTA Fall Conference 2017

Press release from the issuing company

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – CRON-ECRM will be exhibiting at FTA Fall Conference 2017, to be held October 9-11, 2017 in St. Louis, MO. Themed "The Gateway to Technology," Fall Conference 2017 will explore flexographic innovation and how to implement it. Visitors to the exhibit will be able to learn about the distinct advantages that are provided by CRON-ECRM’s HDI-Flexo CTP.

The HDI Flexo CTP uses CRON-ECRM’s maintenance-free magnetic linear drive system, renowned for its ability to image accurately with high-quality performance. Available with standard output resolutions from 2400 to 5080 dpi (optional 9600 dpi), CRON HDI imagers provide a fault-free imaging experience, ensuring precision printing from all digital photopolymer plates, ablative films, and polyester-based letterpress plates.

The HDI series is available in three sizes — the 600 and 900 are suitable for smaller format and label work, with the larger 1600 is perfect for general packaging work.

Each format unit also comes in three versions: the “S” versions have a maximum resolution of 5080 dpi, and exposure speed up to 1.6 square meters per hour; the “H” versions have a maximum resolution of 9600 dpi, and exposure speed up to 3.2 square meters per hour and the new H+ offers maximum resolution of 9600 with imaging speeds up to 5.0 square meters per hour.

“We are thrilled to provide a unique alternative to flexo printers looking to bring platemaking in-house, or replace their aging, low resolution devices” said Marshall Hogenson, Director of Sales: Flexo, CRON-ECRM. “Our HDI-Flexo CTP now provides the highest resolution and the best warranty in the industry, offering by far the lowest total cost of ownership in flexo CTP.”
