Company Names Art Staple Director of Sales
KIRKLAND, Wash., May 9 -- ImageX, Inc., the leading provider of online solutions for distributing, managing and producing sales and marketing materials, today announced Art Staple has been named director of sales for the company's remote sales team.
Staple's background includes more than 20 years of high-level sales management experience, including nearly 10 years at Data General Corporation and several years with MAI Systems.
Most recently, Staple was Eastern region sales director at Captura Software, Inc. In this role, he developed and implemented a strategic regional sales plan, which resulted in numerous new business wins within the Global 2000. As a result of this sales plan, his team consistently delivered substantial over-goal sales performance and pipeline-building activity.
As vice president of sales, process divisions, at MAI Systems, Staple coordinated and implemented a national sales division focused on mid-market solution selling. In this role, Staple's team increased new business opportunities, resulting in significant quarter-over-quarter growth.
While at Data General, Staple was responsible for managing both sales professionals and technical consultants to grow revenues from key accounts, resulting in annual over-goal performance. In addition, Staple implemented a sales process to develop and successfully grow pipeline and revenue opportunities.
"Art's extremely successful background of developing and executing on sales plans will propel our drive to reach our annual sales goals," said Gary Tidd, vice president, sales and business development at Imagex.com.
