Customers who have service agreements with IKON can now regularly submit their copy or print volume online through a customized, secure web page. Previously, customers were required to submit regular meter reads either by phone or fax. Now, customers who elect to utilize IKON's web-based meter read service will receive a reminder notice via e-mail to submit their regularly-scheduled meter reads, containing an encrypted hyperlink to a customized web page where meter reads are submitted electronically. The web-enabled service is more efficient for customers and increases accuracy in the billing process, since customers enter their meter reads directly into the system, which provides the basis for regular billing.
