StaffingTools.com and PrintImage International Announce Partnership
Press release from the issuing company
Bloomington, IN – May 6, 2002 – The graphic arts e-learning portal, StaffingTools.com, and PrintImage International, the leading trade association for small and quick commercial printing companies, announce a partnership to offer online testing, training and certification for their 1,600 members. This partnership allows PrintImage International to offer exclusive discounts and special offers to their members through the PrintImage Online University powered by StaffingTools.com.
“Hiring and training a productive staff is no longer a luxury for our members. It has become a must if they are to remain a quality and profitable communications and print solutions provider in the current marketplace and in no area is that more important than in the prepress, graphics and web development departments”, states Steve Johnson, President & CEO, PrintImage International. “StaffingTools has a strong reputation and impressive track record as a testing and training resource for quick and small commercial printers and copy centers. Together with StaffingTools, we can continue to offer programs and services that will allow our members to ‘work smarter’ and ‘make more money.”
StaffingTools.com allows companies to test and train their employees online from any computer with an Internet connection 24/7, and the StaffingTools Learning Management System (LMS) allows management to track employee learning with ease. The LMS allows them to create staff accounts, assign tests and training, and even test the skill sets of potential employees prior to making a hiring decision. The online training, geared toward using software applications for output, is broken up into small modules so employees can take tests and training when time allows while eliminating travel expenses for classes and seminars.
"We are extremely pleased to be working with PrintImage International,” says Julie Jankowski, Director of Corporate Accounts. "StaffingTools is committed to providing the association and its members the best online training available for prepress and graphics software.”
