Wallace Enters Into Strategic Agreement With Stralfors

Press release from the issuing company

LISLE, Ill.--May 6, 2002--Wallace today announced that it has signed an agreement of strategic cooperation with Stralfors, an information logistics company based in Ljungby, Sweden. The strategic agreement covers exploring possible joint product development, and benchmarking in production and sales. With Stralfors focusing its activities in Europe and Wallace concentrating mainly on North America, the agreement will initially focus on streamlining the processes associated with traditional, digital and electronic print items, which typically generate cost savings for both suppliers and customers. New products and services, as well as cost savings, are expected to result from the cooperation. "It is important that we make our operations more streamlined and cost efficient, along with developing new products, services, and technologies to meet our customers' needs," said Per Samuelson, President and CEO of Stralfors. "This is why we have chosen an industry leader like Wallace as a partner." "Its strong position in the European market, its expertise in the field of technical development, and the fact that it is not a competitor but has similar customers with similar needs, make Stralfors an ideal partner for us," said M. David Jones, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Wallace.
