Stora Enso North America: Magazine Papers Executive to Retire

HELSINKI, Finland, May 7 -- Stora Enso announced last week that Ronald Swanson, Senior Vice President, Magazine Papers, has announced his retirement from Stora Enso North America. Product areas Swanson oversees include lightweight coated, medium-weight coated, supercalendered and newsprint grades. He also serves as deputy to the Division's president and is a member of the Stora Enso Management Group.
"Ron is a valued member of Stora Enso North America's management team," noted Kai Korhonen, President Stora Enso North America. "He provided critical guidance during Consolidated's merger with Stora Enso helping ensure a successful transition. His insight and excellent customer relations skills will be greatly missed".
A search for Swanson's successor is in progress.
