Nutis Visual Communications Selects the Komori Lithrone G40

Press release from the issuing company

Advanced technology that delivers greater speed and efficiency drive the decision

Rolling Meadows, IL - Komori America Corporation announced today that Nutis Visual Communications (Nutis.com), a fourth-generation premier supplier of visually creative print, point-of-purchase and visual merchandising solutions located in Columbus, Ohio, has purchased its first Komori press. The six-color Lithrone G40 (GL640C) with conventional UV will expand the company’s capabilities to deliver exceptional print quality on difficult stocks, faster turnaround times and greater operational efficiencies in the pressroom.

“We chose to purchase a Komori press over the other three top manufacturers in the industry because Komori had the total package. It offers the advanced technology we wanted to print high-quality color on difficult stocks, such as 40 pt. board and plastics, while delivering on both speed and efficiency. This press is making it possible to expand our portfolio with a broader range of indoor and outdoor products that are visually compelling, functional and cost effective,” said Ira Nutis, CEO for Nutis Visual Communications. “Additionally, we like the way Komori does business. They make the entire process—from purchase to installation to training —extremely smooth.”

A G7 Master Printer, Nutis Visual Communications was also impressed with the fact an operator can control so much of the GL640C’s processes straight from the console. The KHS-AI system, intelligent software with a self-learning function, adjusts register and color matching within 20 sheets of print start up, saves on time and waste and offers a PDC-SX print density control capability that controls densities and automatically adjusts register.

“We welcome Nutis Visual Communications to the Komori family. As a leading provider of custom in-store and external merchandising solutions, Nutis Visual Communications has the vision to seek out technologies that enhance the quality of what they produce while keeping prices competitive,” said Mark Hopkins, VP Sales for Komori America. “The Lithrone G40 answers their requirement for a more efficient press capable of producing higher quality work in less time.”
