As the No. 1 international trade fair for printing technologies, drupa reflects the status of the industry and  focuses on future themes with strong growth potential – such as 3D printing, functional printing and package printing. The drupa exhibit categories are divided into six main segments: pre-press/print; pre-media/multichannel; post press/converting/package printing; future technologies; materials; and equipment/ services/infrastructure. The entire range of applications and business areas will be presented at drupa. At the show’s last staging in 2016, 1,828 exhibitors from 55 nations and 260,165 visitors from 183 countries took part.  About 70% of the drupa exhibitors usually come from nations other than Germany, including more than 100 companies from the U.S. As in the past, Messe Düsseldorf North America will again organize a U.S. Pavilion at drupa 2020.
