Industry Compensation Survey Begins

Press release from the issuing company

Printing Industries of America (PIA) and its U.S. Affiliated Organizations will begin a nationwide survey of industry compensation practices during the summer.  In 2016, data from over 17,000 individuals comprised the survey results, making it the largest survey of its kind in the industry.  The survey includes data from a broad variety of commercial, in-plant, and packaging firms. Published results are reported by region of the United States as well as company size.  Survey results are available to PIA Affiliate members at minimal cost.

The 2017 results will be available in the fall, and includes compensation information for practically all positions: management, administration, customer service, prepress, print production (sheetfed, web, flexo, digital, wide format), as well as bindery and finishing.   Company policies regarding drug testing, smoking, overtime, vacation and holidays are reviewed as well as benefit practices regarding health insurance, 401K, and many other employee benefits.

For additional information about this annual survey, contact your local PIA Affiliate or email Adriane Harrison with Printing Industries of America at [email protected].
