Standard Register Named Preferred Vendor for Kyocera Mita

DAYTON, Ohio--April 30, 2002--Standard Register has been named the preferred service vendor for the full line of Kyocera Mita printers within the United States. Kyocera Mita is one of the world's largest manufacturers of copiers; network-ready multifunctional document-imaging systems; and computer peripherals. Under terms of the contract, Standard Register will conduct warranty work for Kyocera Mita printers, perform printer installations and assist Kyocera's help desk with on-site support. "We are pleased that Kyocera Mita has recognized our strength as a service provider," said Tim Spencer, general manager, Standard Register Document Systems. "We have a strong history of providing unparalleled service to many printer manufacturers and distributors and are delighted to add Kyocera to our customer roster." Standard Register has a long-standing relationship with Kyocera Mita because its printers support Standard Register's state government motor vehicle applications that include forms, labels, hardware and software.
