Open House hosted by Manroland India a resounding success

Last month, over 40 prominent packaging and commercial printers from Gujrat state, a thriving area in India, attended the Manroland Sheetfed India Open House event at the Ahmedabad at Hotel Pride Plaza, the first event of its kind in the state. 

After a brief introduction by Kamal Vyas, General Manager, Manroland Sheetfed India, Neeraj Dargan, Managing Director, Manroland Sheetfed India welcomed the delegates and gave an overview of the Manroland Sheetfed group, its recent global achievements and the day's program. He also introduced the speakers Mr. Sascha Ehrenberg, Territory Manager, Australiasia, Manroland Sheetfed GmbH and Mr. Praveen Hirabhai Patel from Hira Print Solutions, Mubai.

The first presentation, Foiling Technology and Print Enhancement, was delivered by Mr. Sascha Ehrenberg who demonstrated in detail the array of enhancements achieveable using Manroland technology - by taking an ordinary print job and converting it to an extraordinary decorated work of art. Manroland enjoy's the greater market share in InlineFoiler installations worldwide, compared to competitors' technologies.

Mr Ehrenberg explained how the various processes that can be achieved using the new ROLAND 700 Evolution with its innovative enhancement capabilities and unique features such as inking unit reverse sweep, triple flow inking, inking unit splitting and the indexing facility of the InlineFoiler. 

Since the acquisition of Manroland by the British industrial group Langley Holdings plc in 2012, Manroland Sheetfed continues to flourish and to be profitable.

Since the launch of the new ROLAND 700 Evolution press, the company has already sold over 440 printing units worldwide with a number of repeat orders and dynamic configurations such as eight color with four coating units etc.

To conclude the Open House, ROLAND customer Mr. Praveen Hirabhai Patel, Managing Director, Hira Print Solutions, Mumbai, delivered a short talk on how the ROLAND 700 has benefited his business resulting in higher productivity, no downtime and increased profitability and has "the lowest cost of ownership, works flawlessly with optimum output."
