CSL Digital, in partnership with Fujifilm, impressed show visitors with demonstrations of the latest Acuity LED 1600 II roll/flatbed hybrid UV printers and the super wide format Acuity 3200R roll to roll UV printer at the Sign + Digital exhibition this year. 

Throughout the three days of the exhibition, visitors to the CSL / Fujifilm stand were treated to ‘real world application’ demonstrations of the new Acuity LED 1600 II and 3200R printers using sheet materials supplied by Perspex Distribution and roll media from Soyang Europe.  

Two LED 1600 II printers were on display to illustrate the versatility of the product in both roll fed and flatbed print configurations.  The unique ability to print all six colours plus white and gloss simultaneously was not lost on sign companies and printers, many of whom commented on the flawless print registration on clear substrates.  The super wide format LED 3200R was demonstrated printing quality images at impressively fast speeds in both full 3.2m width and dual roll modes – attracting strong interest from trade suppliers and businesses involved in printed wallpapers and coverings.  

The Acuity LED 1600 flatbed demonstrations produced exceptional direct to substrate print results by using acrylic, aluminium composite panel, foamboard and fluted polypropylene sheet materials supplied by Perspex Distribution.  Specialists in wide and super wide format media, Soyang Europe, provided all the self-adhesive vinyl, banner and textile media required for the LED 1600 and 3200R to produce eye-catching samples for visitors to take away from the stand.

CSL Digital also introduced visitors to another industry innovation – Fujifilm Imagine.  This web to print ordering system allows businesses to offer print products and services to customers instore and online.  This multi-channel solution allows customers to upload images or artwork and order signs, banners, posters, canvasses or personalised gifts using an instore kiosk, a computer or a dedicated mobile app.  Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to use a Fujifilm Imagine Kiosk to design and print their own phone covers using a flatbed UV printer and CSL Digital print jigs.
