C.W. Zumbiel Picks E-Commerce Solution from CRC Information Systems

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 24, 2002)–CRC Information Systems, Inc. (CRC) announced today that consumer packaging company C.W. Zumbiel (Zumbiel) has signed a deal to implement the latest version of THE System from CRC which includes CRC’s full suite of Web-enabled applications. According to Zumbiel MIS director Vicky Schneider, CRC’s Internet software will allow them to accommodate the needs of some of their largest customers, including a number of Fortune 500 and 1,000 companies. “Zumbiel is a very customer-driven company,” explains Schneider. “Our goal is to provide our customers the highest possible levels of service, and we consider CRC’s Web-enabled applications to be a critical factor in achieving this goal. We look forward to creating a more efficient operating environment internally and providing our customers with the tools to more easily place orders and manage their inventories.” CRC’s e-commerce solution will allow Zumbiel’s customers to place orders, track jobs through production and shipping, and manage their finished goods inventories from the convenience of Zumbiel’s Web site. C.W. Zumbiel is one of the largest independently owned consumer packaging companies in the United States.
