SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 24, 2002)–CRC Information Systems, Inc. (CRC) announced today that consumer packaging company C.W. Zumbiel (Zumbiel) has signed a deal to implement the latest version of THE System from CRC which includes CRC’s full suite of Web-enabled applications. According to Zumbiel MIS director Vicky Schneider, CRC’s Internet software will allow them to accommodate the needs of some of their largest customers, including a number of Fortune 500 and 1,000 companies. “Zumbiel is a very customer-driven company,” explains Schneider. “Our goal is to provide our customers the highest possible levels of service, and we consider CRC’s Web-enabled applications to be a critical factor in achieving this goal. We look forward to creating a more efficient operating environment internally and providing our customers with the tools to more easily place orders and manage their inventories.” CRC’s e-commerce solution will allow Zumbiel’s customers to place orders, track jobs through production and shipping, and manage their finished goods inventories from the convenience of Zumbiel’s Web site.
