Servinform Signs Ricoh Pro VC60000 to Reach New Markets

Press release from the issuing company

Ricoh Europe, London - Spanish transactional printer Servinform has become the latest print services provider to adopt the Ricoh Pro VC60000 high speed inkjet press. The agreement was made at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2017.

Servinform chose the Ricoh Pro VC60000 to enhance the services it currently provides and to expand into new markets such as books and direct mail.

Servinform works with clients across a broad range of sectors including public administration, utilities, telecommunications and finance. The company has been running InfoPrint 5000 continuous feed technology for ten years and has three print lines at its Madrid site.

Ignacio Rufo, CEO, explains: “With a system on the market as advanced as the Ricoh Pro VC60000, the decision was an easy one. Both parties have worked very well together. We have a longstanding relationship with Ricoh and there is no doubt about its seriousness and consistency.”

From a technological perspective, it was the Pro VC60000’s maximum speed of 150 metres per minute and its print resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi that won Servinform’s commitment. It will help the company expand its range of services.

"Maintaining technological leadership is very important for us, but only if it allows us to transfer real value to our customers," says José Manuel Alonso-Viguera, General Manager of Servinform. "With the Pro VC60000 we go one step further in that direction, because it opens us to new capabilities and applications that will help us to become even more differentiated in the market. We can move into new sectors such as books and direct mail."

Eef de Ridder, Head of Commercial Printing, Production Printing, Ricoh Europe, comments: "We are very proud to be able to protect our clients' investments so effectively. Serviform’s order of the Pro VC60000 is a natural consequence of our strong and lasting relationship based on trust and innovation."
