CRC Information Systems Releases e-Commercial Print Quotation Module

Press release from the issuing company

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (July 3, 2002)–CRC Information Systems, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce the release of the e-Commercial Printing Quotation Entry module. This new module is among the first in CRC’s e-commerce suite to be developed with the Microsoft Visual Basic.NET technology and represents the first step towards a completely Web-enabled and truly cross-platform graphic arts business management system. With this new technology from CRC printers can provide their customers with an intuitive, userfriendly Web interface for submitting job specifications. Further, because the e-quote entry system interfaces directly with THE System’s decision making estimating module users will only have to enter a few basic pieces of information such as page count, finish size, and quantities. Once these basic elements have been captured online estimator’s can be notified of the request in realtime, via e- mail or THE System’s RFQ reports, and immediately download the customer’s specifications and generate the estimate in a matter of seconds. Once the estimate has been generated the estimator or sales rep can e-mail or fax a quote to the customer from the convenience of their workstation. Because of THE System’s intelligence and tight integration this entire process requires no redundant entry and can be completed in just a few short minutes.
