Tharstern to show latest MIS developments

Press release from the issuing company

Colne, Lancashire, UK - Tharstern, the technology for print, packaging and labelling industries, will be showing latest MIS developments at a series of show appearances in 2017.

Little more than a year after launching into North America, Keith McMurtrie, the boss of Tharstern, is predicting huge growth opportunities. Client feedback has played a pivotal role in shaping thinking for Tharstern that invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in the US set-up.

Tharstern is also continuing to invest in R&D and new marketing initiatives to promote the Tharstern MIS fully integrated and modular system that can be configured to the requirements of each business.

First up will be an appearance as a headline sponsor of the PrintWeekLive! show at the Wasps Arena, Coventry, from 8-9 March. Later the same month, Tharstern will be at the 30th-anniversay Sign & Digital UK show (stand J52) at the NEC, Birmingham, from 28-30 March. Completing a trio of UK show participation will be taking another stand at The Print Show at Telford International Centre from 11-13 October. Last year one of the visitors to the Tharstern stand who found time to find out about MIS latest developments at The Print Show was television broadcaster Julia Bradbury.

At each event, Tharstern experts in workflow integration will be showing customers how they can integrate their hardware and software into one automated workflow. Tharstern MIS also has an open API which has been built to be friendly to other software systems, so a Tharstern customer knows that however their business develops in the future, their MIS can grow with them.

“We’ll continue to innovate with our market-leading Tharstern MIS, as well as continue to develop new modules that will help us further grow our customer base,” said Keith McMurtrie. “These and other shows will be a great platform to show printers that by investing in MIS technology, they are giving themselves more opportunities to be innovative in the products they produce and in the way they communicate with customers.”

The Tharstern team will be showing its market-leading MIS software solution, including these new modules:

Business Intelligence – a smarter way for decision makers to view their MIS data, uncover hidden trends and identify new opportunities.

Advanced Imposition – demonstrating how inexperienced users have the power to create complex impositions at the click of a button.

Tharstern, the pioneering specialist software house, was formed more than 30 years ago. It launched into America in the autumn of 2015 and has a total of 7,000 users of its MIS and workflow solutions. Tharstern is trusted by over 600 UK print businesses and more than 50 in Australasia. It has also set up installations in north America.
