Bolger Vision Beyond Print Joins the Growing Ranks of Sustainable Print Facilities

Press release from the issuing company

Printer completes rigorous Sustainable Green Printing Partnership Certification
Minneapolis, MN - The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) is pleased to announce Bolger Vision Beyond Print as its newest certified printing facility. SGP is the leading authority in sustainable printing certifications, and Bolger's recent certification makes it the 68th SGP certified facility in the United States.
In order to become an SGP-certified printing facility, Minneapolis-based Bolger Vision Beyond Print was required to undergo an independent third-party certification audit aligning it with the published SGP criteria. All certified facilities must pass environmental, health and safety, and energy audits, in addition to conducting indoor air quality tests. Facilities must maintain documentation strategy for Best Management Practices and should have a team of employees in place to coordinate sustainability efforts.
SGP's multi-attribute certification is unlike any other in the industry. SGP certified printers are among an elite class of facilities that have made a commitment to corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability. These printers are seen as valuable resources for brands that want to elevate their own sustainability initiatives by working exclusively with certified printers.
Bolger Vision Beyond Print Director of Compliance Rick Kline says that his facility decided to pursue SGP certification, "to bolster its current Environmental, Health and Safety program and to provide customers the assurance that Bolger is a responsible company that practices what it preaches with its Sustainable Management System."
Kline's ambitious certification goals include reducing the company's carbon footprint and increasing business by offering in-demand services to sustainable brands. Bolger also places a high value on employee health and safety, and its SGP certification adds an additional level of confidence in that area.
Kline says, "Along with its Quality and Information Security Management Systems certificates and audits, the addition of its SGP certification means Bolger has completed the Grand Slam of certifications."
Print facilities that are interested in following Bolger's lead to eliminate waste, reduce energy consumption, transition to sustainable materials, and win new business from organizations that require sustainable printing practices from their suppliers should visit  http://www.sgppartnership.org/certification/or contact Executive Director Brittany Sutphin at [email protected] to learn more about becoming SGP certified in 2017.
