Nosco Joins PPC

Press release from the issuing company

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Nosco, Inc. recently joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), the North American association for independent and integrated paperboard packaging manufacturers and their suppliers.

Headquartered in Gurnee, Ind., Nosco has been providing full-service packaging solutions for more than 80 years. Specializing in the healthcare-related industries—including pharmaceutical, natural health, and personal care—Nosco manufactures folding cartons, pressure sensitive labels, inserts, outserts, and instructions for use.

Nosco also prides itself in providing an array of personalized packaging options. Harnessing digital printing technologies, the firm has worked on personalization projects with companies like Coca-Cola®, and offers a complete end-to-end solution, from building an online customizer, to printing and fulfillment. The firm has even recently introduced a new brand, Sonder, specifically for customers who want to create hyper-customized products.

Nosco is a subsidiary of Holden Industries, Inc. and is a 100% employee-owned company.

“I welcome Nosco to the association,” said Ben Markens, PPC president. “With their many years of experience serving the healthcare segment, they bring much knowledge and expertise to the table. I hope they take advantage of the many PPC member benefits and programs to support their current and future business initiatives.”

PPC members receive access to the only folding carton exclusive data reporting program in the industry, webinars, white papers, and legislative updates. They get opportunities to attend informative biannual conferences, discounted registration to key training sessions like Folding Carton Boot Camp, and can also participate in publicity-generating programs such as TICCIT and the North American Paperboard Packaging Competition. PPC also facilities several communities of interest, including the Rigid Box Committee, the Canadian Converters Committee, the Women’s Leadership Committee, and the New Generation Leaders group.
