Affiliated company of IQDEMY Holding specializes in UV-LED printing on glass surfaces.
IQDEMY Holding, an innovative and market leading company within the inkjet arena, is proud to announce that its subsidiary, UV-LED printing studio, has achieved EN ISO 12543-4 certification for its glass printing employing IQDEMY large and very large format UV-LED printers.
EN-ISO 12543-4 certification confirms compliance of the printed glass for façade glazing where no water intrusion is allowed to occur. It encompasses rigorous tests as to print quality and adhesion on glass substrates. Among these trials a duration test at temperatures of 100°C for 48 hours as well as a 1-hour test at temperatures from 110 to 140°C is carried out. Prints from IQDEMY’s industrial UV-LED printers passed those tests with flying feathers as no signs of bubbles nor lift-offs of print or image blurs could be registered.
As direct result UV-LED printing studio received several significant premium orders in the B2B sector, among them balcony balustrades for buildings in Courbevoie; a big ready-made project of glass units for Hermes as well as printing on laminated glass for the Palace of Versailles.
In addition, UV-LED printing studio also printed a huge panorama decorating the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Also, the Ritz Hotel can be counted among its customers with its décor having been printed on IQDEMY’s large format printers.
Printed glass employing UV-LED ink from UV-LED printing studio is not only sought after in France. Just recently a pilot patch of magnetic glass got printed in order to secure and order for decoration of the palace from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Since obtaining the ISO certification and thus confirmation of highest printing quality by international standards, UV-LED printing studio’s popularity grows constantly. “We are happy, that with its certification UV-LED printing studio has proven to not only provide great services but also high sustainable print quality that opens up new business opportunities. In addition, UV-LED technology, not emitting any VOCs and ensuring safe work environments by implementation of low temperature LEDs, is environmentally friendly and saves on energy and maintenance costs. Orders in the size of up to 700 sqm as well as 13,000 sqm have already been carried out. UV-LED printing studio has a strong reputation in the market that already helped secure the order for printing the panorama panel picture that now is installed at the Eiffel Tower. Our confidence in our printers is not only proven by official tests and certifications, but also by the amount of large orders from major companies, state customers and even representatives of Royal families”, explains Vladislav Mirchev, CEO of IQDEMY Holding.
“It is a great honor and responsibility at the same time. However, one cannot reach big targets by making small steps. This is why we plan to develop further solutions and applications. Every single employee in our company strives to give their best, from the line integrator to the top manager of our dealer network, Ms. Olga Kondratieva. The possibilities of UV-LED printing are truly limitless and smoothly integrate in modern industrial interior, as well as in traditional European and Middle Eastern architecture, resulting in infinite growth opportunities for businesses.”
