Presstek Appoints New Sales Manager in North America

Hudson, NH USA – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions for commercial and newspaper printers, today announced the further expansion of its North American sales team with the appointment of Sean McGovern as Sales Manager, Central Region, CTP Systems & Printing Plates.

Operating out of Minneapolis, MN, McGovern comes to the Presstek role with more than 25 years’ industry knowledge and expertise gained through a variety of positions with leading industry players including Kodak, Screen, Agfa, and CGS.

“Sean’s understanding of diverse print and plate technologies combined with his successful sales experience within the graphics arts industry will prove to be an asset with our go-to-market strategies,” commented Ralph Jenkins, Presstek Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. “He will be key to expanding relationships with channel partners, driving system installations and growing plate sales within the central region, all with an end result of helping offset printers improve quality and remove unnecessary complexities and cost from their plate production.”

Prior to joining Presstek, McGovern held sales management positions at Kodak, Screen and Agfa. At Kodak, he was a Solution Sales Manager selling its full portfolio of products; Regional Sales Manager at Screen USA responsible for sales of CTP, Workflow, Digital Print and Wide Format solutions; and more recently AGFA Corporation where he was charged with sales and marketing of CTP systems and Wide Format printers.

According to McGovern, his new remit at Presstek offers a unique opportunity to utilize his specialist knowledge of high-quality color reproduction: “I always gain immense satisfaction from helping customers work out the best solution for their setup and production requirements. I am ecstatic about offering Presstek’s eco-friendly, highly quality plate and imaging technologies to commercial and newspaper printers.
