Propago Powers Its Cloud-Based Marketing Asset Management Solution for the Printing Industry with Native cXML Punch-out Support for eProcurement Connection Capabilities

Press release from the issuing company

Propago’s capability makes it easier to connect its web-to-print storefronts with buyers that use eProcurement applications such as Ariba, SciQuest, Coupa, SAP, and Oracle

Propago, a cloud-based Marketing Asset Management software firm headquartered in Austin, TX, is a leader in its market being the first to power its cloud-based marketing assets management solution for the printing industry with native cXML punchout support for eProcurement connection capabilities. Soon Propago will begin to use SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), an XML-based, open-standard data format for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties.

“Unlike our competitors, our popular Propago system has been the first to offer native cXML punchout support to our customers,” says Rick Aberle, CEO of Propago. “Our print customers have praised its ease of use, its remote shopping session transactions, and its increased overall efficiency of the procurement process. Soon, we’ll be leading again by offering SAML to our customer base and providing them with a clear competitive advantage. Our expert computer science techs have seamlessly integrated the SAML format into our robust platform.”

The Propago platform has a complete procurement workflow that easily consolidates and organizes demand for a simple procurement process. Corporations use the eProcurement system to increase efficiency and ensure that company-mandated procurement policies are used. Punchout support provides buyers with the ability to purchase goods from a supplier’s website from within their own eProcurement system.

Headquartered in Austin, TX, Propago was started within a large commercial printing conglomerate as an internal application to serve clients and support backend operations for those clients. Established as a simple and straightforward solution to simplify and streamline a company’s production and fulfillment processes, Propago gradually matured over the years to become a comprehensive marketing management and fulfillment platform. In 2015, the team responsible for building and maintaining the Propago platform was given the opportunity to spin the technology away from the parent company and form a completely stand-alone organization.
