INX Digital EMEA to address productivity at Inprint 2016

Press release from the issuing company

Milan, IT – InPrint 2016 is an important international event that will feature cutting edge technology, components and services for state-of-the-art functional, decorative and packaging printing in industrial production. To meet those needs, INX Digital EMEA (Stand D24) will offer inkjet technology and integration solutions by highlighting three indispensable machines and a home décor showcase at the November 15-17 show, being held at the Milano Congressi in Milan, Italy.

INX Digital has a formidable track record and extensive experience collaborating and developing custom inks and coatings for some of the most respected companies in the world. Inkjet resources include highly regarded chemists, engineers, application and software experts focused on devising inkjet formulations and integration to offer the widest variety of ink types and unique formulations for graphics, industrial and packaging applications. This includes water-based, UV Curable, solvent, EB Cure, hybrids, coatings and primers.

Prodigy™ water-based, UV Curable and solvent inks will be demonstrated in the stand on the JP3 paper printer from MS Printing Solutions. With a print width of 70 inches (180 cm), this machine is fast, producing material at a rate of 1291 square feet per hour (120 sqm) in CMYK mode or 1021 square feet per hour (95 sqm) with up to 8 colors. It features an open software system, embedded remote diagnostics and an embedded web server for cost reporting. The eye-appealing Prodigy inks are specifically designed to handle all types of challenging industrial applications.

The revolutionary JetINX™ Printhead Drive and Ink Recirculation system is the powerful force behind two other machines that will be demonstrated: the SLED and the InkCups Helix rotary inkjet printer.

The SLED allows for several test methods. It examines inks and chemistries in different fluid delivery systems mounted to a device, in addition to testing printheads and various ink sets. It will also examine different materials and ink sets, and the printing of flat materials to evaluate ink behavior on those substrates.

The Helix printer produces superior quality single or multi-color images at exceptional speeds in only a few seconds. A heavy-duty, state-of-the-art industrial printer with patent-pending software, it is designed for short-run and high volume production, making it the ideal device for the drinkware, cosmetic and industrial printing industries. A single, advanced quick-change tooling fixture designed for both cylinder and tapered parts reduces set-up time on the Helix. The all-digital process also eliminates the need for pre-press or screen making.

The unique home décor showcase is a must-see. Several water-based, pigment and UV Curable inks are being featured to print wallpaper and furniture textile covers, dresser panels and fabrics. With the R&D capabilities INX and parent company Sakata INX possess, ink can be used in more situations than ever before.
