Kornit Digital Appoints Johan Spies as Key Account Manager, EMEA

Press release from the issuing company

Kornit Digital has appointed Johan Spies in the role of Key Account Manager EMEA where he will concentrate on the company’s major clients involved both in direct-to-garment printing and the growing market for roll-to-roll production. Formerly he was Senior Product Manager EMEA at Mimaki Europe BV and, prior to that, he was Channel Sales Development Manager for Northern Europe for EFI, following a period in the position of Product Marketing Manager with the company.

The move by Spies to Kornit Digital is designed to fill the role for a highly experienced market expert that understands the digital print arena and the role played by Kornit’s NeoPigment technology both in the garment and roll textile segments. The importance of looking after its client base and ensuring that the highest levels of contact and communication are maintained are critical to Kornit, with key accounts now growing in significance among the company’s clients. As such, this new role is a critical move forward by the company to accommodate all segments of its business and to develop, co-ordinate and maintain full relationships with the growing numbers of major businesses now benefiting from Kornit Digital’s solutions.

Spies will be responsible for directing full business development encompassing hardware, software and consumables, working with customers on analysis and assessments of current and future requirements, and investigating new technology options and opportunities. His long-term experience in the digital printing arena will be invaluable to Kornit Digital for its continued growth plans and his combination of technical skills and marketing knowledge will be instrumental to the company’s continued success.
