Datalogics announces PDF Optimization, a new feature for Adobe PDF Library v15

Datalogics, Inc., the premier source for PDF and eBook technologies for developers, announces today at Microsoft Ignite, the release of PDF Optimizer as a new feature to the Adobe PDF Library version 15.

With the new PDF Optimizer, functionalities such as stream compression, image manipulation, font subsetting, and object clean up, have all become streamlined. The new feature uses Datalogics expertise to simplify the task of PDF file size reduction, making it the ideal tool to process content for online viewing and distribution. PDF Optimizer is making extensive use of the Adobe PDF Library’s core features in order to preserve the fidelity of the original document.

“We are excited to offer PDF Optimizer as a new feature to the Adobe PDF Library,” states Vel Genov, Product Manager, Datalogics. “We’ve had many requests for PDF optimization, which made adding it to the Adobe PDF Library the right choice. The Adobe PDF Library v.15 is available directly through Datalogics on the following platforms: Windows 32- and 64-bit, Mac 32- and 64-bit, and Linux 32- and 64-bit.
