CAP Ventures Promotes Holly Muscolino, Rick Clayton and Joel Mazza

(Norwell, MA) June 19, 2002 -- CAP Ventures, Inc., the leading worldwide strategic consulting and market research firm for the digital business communications and e-business technologies revolution, today announced several staffing changes designed to improve the service we provide to our clients.  CAP Ventures is pleased to announce the appointment of Holly Muscolino as Director of the Production Workflow Solutions Service/Document Outsourcing Service; the appointment of Rick Clayton as Director of the Digital Peripherals Service (formerly Converging Digital Peripherals Service) and Joel Mazza as the Associate Director for the Network Document Solutions Service. "These appointments demonstrate our commitment to provide our clients with leadership that combines a blend of practical experience, industry knowledge and an understanding of the application of new technologies," said Charles M. Corr, Group Director. “These appointments will enhance the services offered to our clients and allow us to better provide guidance in turbulent economic conditions.”  Holly Muscolino, most recently was the Associate Director for the Production Workflow/Document Outsourcing Services. She was responsible for developing the Production Workflow Service offering and has been an architect not only of our e-Print market coverage but our benchmark Document Outsourcing and E-Print Procurement Forecasts. Holly has twenty years experience in the graphic arts and electronic prepress industries, encompassing various positions in software development, tactical and strategic marketing and customer service organizations. Holly spent twelve years with Agfa Corporation, including assignments both in the U.S. and in Belgium. She has also held positions at Harlequin and Cascade Systems. Holly has extensive experience in product management and product marketing management, particularly in the areas of print production workflow, media asset management, and print e-procurement. Holly has a strong technical background, with an M.S. Summa cum laude in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University and also holds a M.Ed. and a B.S. Rick Clayton, most recently was the Associate Director for the Digital Peripherals Service. He has been instrumental in redefining the service offering. Rick brings a unique understanding of end user requirements, technology and distribution to this position. He has worked extensively in the services and solutions markets as well as working on market forecasts at CAP Ventures. Rick has more than 25 years experience in the document reproduction and office copying equipment industry.  Before joining CAP Ventures, Rick was Color Program Manager for Danka Office Imaging, where he ran a color program that included product launches, strategic planning, business management and marketing.  Prior to Danka, Rick worked for Canon USA for 14 years.  As Marketing Manager for the Graphic Systems Division from 1987 to 1992, he participated in launching the Canon Color Laser Copier series and was heavily involved in developing the color copying market in the United States.  From 1992 to 1995 he was Project Manager for large format products, managing all processes of the business including pricing, distribution, marketing, and sales.  Rick spent two years with Deltak a leading supplier of training for IBM computers. Rick started his career with Xerox Corp., where he held a number of sales positions. He has had numerous articles published and has spoken at a number of major conferences. Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso. Joel Mazza, most recently was a Senior Consultant working with solutions providers, end users and manufacturers and distributors of production and office equipment. Joel has been focusing on solutions and software that offer new opportunities to office equipment dealers and manufacturers. Joel has over 5 years experience in digital imaging and printing with a focus on software, solutions and print controller technology and more than 8 years experience in marketing including research, product development, competitive analysis and sales.  Joel worked for Electronics for Imaging (EFI) prior to joining CAP Ventures.  While at EFI, he worked as a Product Manager and Competitive Analyst focusing on new server development and market research.  Prior to joining EFI, Joel worked at Konica with the Digital Systems Solution Group. Joel is a graduate of Bryant College where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.
