Xaar Announces Zhengzhou New Century as Latest OEM Partner for the New Xaar 1201 Printhead

Cambridge – Xaar plc, the leader in industrial inkjet technology, is delighted to announce that Zhengzhou New Century Digital Print Technology Co. Ltd (New Century) is the latest OEM partner to develop and launch wide-format inkjet printers based on the innovative new Xaar 1201 Thin Film piezo printhead.  

The range of printers recently launched by New Century includes roll-to-roll aqueous and eco-solvent Sky-Color printer models using the new Xaar 1201 printhead in 1, 2 and 4 color variants. These new printers will be on show at Sign China 2016 from 19 – 22 September, Shanghai, China (Hall W5, Stand C05).

The Xaar 1201 is a versatile and compact greyscale printhead capable of handling aqueous and eco-solvent inks. It prints 1, 2 or 4 colors and delivers a high level of quality and performance. Designed for easy integration by printer manufacturers, the Xaar 1201 features 1280 nozzles jetting variable drop sizes to produce high-quality graphics on a wide range of substrates at an apparent resolution of up to 1440 dpi.
