Open House at Print Media Center Atlanta highlights productivity at all run lengths

Press release from the issuing company

Kennesaw, GA - This week, Heidelberg hosted an open house at Print Media Center Atlanta (PMC-ATL) to show customers how its full range of integrated offerings for short run production can optimize productivity and boost their bottom line.

Managing the Balancing Act

The open house is the latest in a series of events designed to provide focused customer solutions through specialized 1:1 engagement. Those in attendance witnessed live equipment and workflow demonstrations, engaging technology presentations and informative Q&A sessions.

“These types of events help demonstrate the effect of technology on a customer’s business costs,” said Andy Rae, Senior Vice President of Equipment and Marketing. “For far too long, the market has focused on the cost of the equipment rather than the value it delivers in terms of lowering the cost per 1000 sheets, which is ultimately what our customers sell to their client base.”

Equipment highlights included the Speedmaster XL 75 Anicolor with UV and Versafire CV and CP digital printing solutions, as well as the InterTech award winning Omnifire 250 and Stahlfolder TH/KH 82-P. Also on display was the Speedmaster XL 106-8P+L with UV, LE UV and LED along with a range of POLAR cutting systems, the Promatrix 106 CS die cutter and a full Prinect suite of software, the only end-to-end workflow in the industry.

On The Road

In addition to the open house at PMC-ATL, Heidelberg will host an event at Sundance Marketing Solutions in Orlando on September 27th. The event will feature the industry leading Speedmaster CD 102 with X-Package along with in depth technology seminars. In October, Heidelberg will also host a similar event in California.

“At Heidelberg, we are proving that productivity is the key,” said Rae. “It is encouraging to see our customers gain traction with this message from workflow through to postpress and digital.”
