ROTOCON Opens New Facility to Manufacture Solid Rotary Dies, Print Cylinders and Accessories

Industry veteran Tim Shaw has joined the ROTOCON team as Technical Manager.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa - ROTOCON has strategically moved its Johannesburg branch to a new, expansive facility to begin local manufacturing of solid rotary dies, print cylinders and accessories serving the South African narrow web industry. Industry veteran Tim Shaw has joined the ROTOCON team as technical manager, bringing over 35 years of industry experience and expertise in the print and packaging markets.

Michael Aengenvoort, owner of ROTOCON comments: "This is a logical next step for us. For years, the ROTOCON team has provided dies, cylinders and accessories to South African printers and converters through our Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg branches, ensuring customers receive on-time delivery and the highest service and quality. With the capability of local manufacturing from our new facility in Johannesburg, and the extensive experience Tim Shaw brings to the team, we look forward to sharing our expanded services throughout South Africa."

In addition to the local manufacturing and sales of solid rotary dies, print cylinders and accessories, ROTOCON is the appointed South African distributor of Wink Stanzwerkzeuge high quality steel flexible dies, offering minimum tolerances, maximum durability and optimum cost-effectiveness. ROTOCON also provides consulting, aftersales support, pre-owned equipment and locally represents ROTOCONTROL, MPS, Screen, Pantec GS Systems, Matho and Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), offering a comprehensive printing and finishing product portfolio.
