Warren extends its paper range with the addition of Paperfect Offset

Press release from the issuing company

Warren, the UK’s leading independent carton and graphical board and paper stockist, has announced that it has expanded its already extensive paper range with the addition of another new product, by becoming the official stockist of Paperfect Offset® for the East and West Midlands, the North East and the South West regions in the UK.

Paperfect Offset is a high quality, white, uncoated, laser guaranteed paper with a brilliant whiteness, a very smooth finish and excellent printability.  Possessing unique qualities, Paperfect Offset® has outstanding bulk attributes which have the potential to save printers money, by using a lower grammage weight such as 90gsm, whilst still providing the bulk and feel of a 100gsm product. This Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified offset grade is the perfect choice for both multi-colour printing and demanding applications. Paperfect Offset® contains a minimum of 80% FSC certified pulp, making it one of the highest FSC content papers available in the UK.

With a reputation as a trusted product, Paperfect Offset® is perfectly suited to colour-rich printing applications such as those used in the production of books, brochures, posters, and folders. The Paperfect Offset® range is stocked at Warren’s warehouse, and is ream wrapped and bulk packed in 75 – 104 gsm weights, ready for next day delivery.

Commenting on the addition of Suzano’s Paperfect Offset® to its paper ranges, Warren Commercial Director, John Turner, stated, “Paperfect is such a strong tried and tested brand name; renowned for its quality, runability and overall performance and we are delighted to offer this as part of our ever increasing range of products - stocked in depth and available for delivery across the East and West Midlands, the North East and the South West regions.”

Manufactured at Suzano’s integrated mill in Brazil, Paperfect Offset® is an alkaline woodfree paper that is produced from 100% ECF bleached Eucalyptus pulp, which helps to provide the superb bulk and high opacity that will help end users to achieve excellent printing results, especially in applications where richness and vibrancy of colour are a must.

As a renowned global paper producer, and with a history of environmental excellence, The Suzano Group began manufacturing paper in 1941, and by 2008 had planted some 64 million trees and exported their products to over 47 countries across the globe. Suzano believes in the concept of minimizing the impact of its production by utilizing sustainable work practices. One of the company’s core value proposition statements is, “We don’t cut down trees to make paper, We plant trees to make paper”.

As well as FSC certification, Suzano is also certified ISO14001 (environmental management), OHSAS18001 (health and operational safety) and by the end of the year aims to be certified SA8000 (social accountability). In 2009 Suzano also received the Rainforest Alliance award for sustainable practices. It’s not hard to see why Suzano has become known as a corporate sustainable standard setter, with an 84 year-old business strategy which is dedicated to sustainable development, not only within the company but also in the forest communities from where its raw materials are sourced.

Warren is a member of the AIMS Group of companies – the UK’s largest independent merchant consortium, and Paperfect and other quality products are available nationally through the group.

With extensive product knowledge within its team, coupled with an outstanding level of service, Warren offers an affordable option for every type of print application.

Warren’s independence provides the company with the ability to stock a wide range of products from the world’s leading manufacturers, with a full range of great value FSC and PEFC certified products within its stock.
