Hudson, NH USA – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced the introduction of DI AutoColor, a precise color management system for Presstek's DI digital offset presses. Made possible by X-Rite color science technology, DI AutoColor is a closed-loop color control system, designed to provide highly consistent color, reduce makeready times and help minimize ink and substrate waste.

DI AutoColor includes ExactLoop, a touch-screen interface software program and the X-Rite eXact Scan, a Bluetooth-enabled spectrophotometer. The eXact Scan is capable of simultaneously measuring M0, M2 and M3 in scan mode for both spot and scan readings. Fast color management data is automatically sent to the ExactLoop software which makes automatic adjustments to the ink keys on press, leading to extremely predictable, repeatable color.

Being introduced at drupa 2016 in the Presstek stand (Hall 15 / D59) is the Presstek 52DI ECO-UV digital offset press where visitors can see the DI AutoColor system being demonstrated.  DI AutoColor is value priced and available with the purchase of a new or Certified Pre-Owned DI press, and can be ordered as an add-on accessory for existing DI customers.
