PITTSBURGH, PA (May 30, 2002) - Printcafe Software, Inc., the operating system for print, kicks off its third annual users‚ conference hosting over 800 customers, industry leaders, media, analysts, and the Printcafe team on Sunday, June 9 at the new Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
This year’s event will introduce new approaches, practical applications, and the roadmap for the future in discussions tailored to the Printcafe Hagen, Logic, PSI, Prograph, and PrintSmith print management systems and cross-platform modules Auto-Count shop floor data collection technology, PrintFlow dynamic scheduling software, and PrintSmith Site and PrinterSite Web interfaces.
Over 100 Printcafe technical, development, training, and customer service personnel will guide hands-on exploration and one-to-one interaction in the Computer Lab and hundreds of training seminars.
Believed to be one of the largest events of its kind in the printing industry, Connect 2002 features an Industry Showcase exhibit area with the latest products and services from Apple, Alinco, Creo, Exact Software, Hewlett-Packard, Komori, Innovative Shipping & Mailing, MAN Roland, Mastech, Matrix Scale, Sappi, and Smartlinc.
Other highlights include three general sessions including “The Printcafe Report” with Printcafe CEO and president Marc Olin and Bob Bierwagen, senior vice president of print management products and operations; “Titans of the Industry” featuring a discussion on integrating the printing process to streamline workflow and reduce costs with the top executives of Creo, MAN Roland, Mail-Well, and Standard Register; and, “A Comic Look at the Serious Side of Success” with nationally known speaker, humorist and entrepreneur, Larry Winget.
