Bowne Global Solutions Names Richard Halevy Corporate Controller

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--May 29, 2002--Bowne Global Solutions, (BGS) the world's leading provider of globalization/localization services, announced today that it has appointed Richard Halevy Corporate Controller. Halevy is responsible for BGS' accounting, auditing and financial reporting. He reports to Mel Epstein, Chief Financial Officer, and is based at BGS' headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey. "We're very excited to have Rich on our team," says Epstein. "His experience working for a fast-growing start-up company is a key asset for BGS. His hands-on experience will be instrumental in helping us build the necessary financial infrastructure to support our continued growth." Prior to joining BGS, Halevy was CFO of Telscape International, Inc. (formerly Pointe Communications Corp.), a publicly held integrated communications provider focused on providing telecommunications services to businesses in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, as well as Hispanic individuals in the US. Halevy started with Telscape in 1997 as Vice President of Finance and was appointed CFO in 2000. During his tenure there, the company grew from $10 million to $150 million, through both organic and acquisition related growth. Halevy was also a Vice-President with Credit Suisse First Boston's Controllers Group. He began his career with Ernst & Young. Halevy, who is a certified public accountant in the State of New York, holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
