Chapelton announces distribution of International Paper’s Speed-E offset

Kent-based speciality paper and cartonboard supplier, Chapelton, has announced that it is to stock and distribute International Paper’s Speed-E offset printing paper product into the UK market. 

With its renowned sheet quality, the Speed-E offset range is designed for high quality printing applications, providing excellent printability qualities across colour printing applications, as well as for various types of high volume converting jobs.

Along with excellent printability (CMYK full colour and Hexachrome print, traditional or stochastic raster), Speed-E offset provides very good colour print reproduction, especially in high volume print work.

Whilst it is excellent for all types of converting work, typical end use applications for Speed-E offset are; Promotional materials and inserts, reports, catalogues, posters, transactional & transpromotional printing, training materials, newsletters, leaflets, manuals and forms.

Manufactured at International Paper’s Kwidzyn mill in Poland, Speed-E offset has high environmental qualities, being both Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) accredited and EU Ecolabel certified, due to the sourcing of the material used in its production originating from sustainably managed sources.

Speed-E will be available from Chapelton in reels, and in four grammage weights, ranging from; 70, 75, 80 to 90gsm.

Commenting on the stocking and distribution arrangement for Speed-E offset, Chapelton Managing Director, Neil Skelton, stated, “We have had great success with SpeedE from International Paper, it is an excellent product which when combined with IP’s renowned service levels means we have an excellent proposition to take to market.” 

Chapelton were confirmed as a distributor for International Paper in 2014, following International Paper’s completion of its $60m modernisation project at the Kwidzyn mill, where the Speed-E product is produced. 

The partnership between Chapelton and International Paper has involved Chapelton helping to develop International Paper’s GC2 lightweight coated board product, Alaska Plus and leading GC1 coated paperboard product Arktika into the UK market, as part of its on-going relationship.
