Canon Solutions America Extends its Efforts to Help Build Efficiency in Higher Education Market

Leaders and experts from the company speak at annual Pharos Conference

MELVILLE, N.Y. – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced its participation in the recent Pharos Discover 2016 Conference in New Orleans, LA. Each year the conference brings together thought leaders from around the globe to discuss the evolution of print management and optimizing print in various environments. Throughout the event, members of Canon Solutions America’s Enterprise Managed Services Division spoke to an engaged audience about ways to enhance printing and document management capabilities at higher education campuses around the country. 

The Pharos Discover 2016 Conference encompassed parallel sessions for different customers and partners with experience and interest in the state of print and document management. Embracing its 2016 theme of “Beyond Boundaries,” the annual conference focused on showcasing the many countries and companies involved in bettering the print industry, and their collective pursuit of developing industry benchmarks for devices, documents, and users. 

During this year’s edition, members of Canon Solutions America’s Enterprise Managed Services Division presented the results of vendor-neutral research and benchmarking found in the higher education market. Over the course of the three-day event, the Enterprise Managed Services Division’s Strategic Markets team spoke acutely on the state of printing and document management on campuses nationwide. 

“Our all-encompassing approach to marketplace research and identifying print industry benchmarks was evident through presentations given by Kristin Von Manowski, senior strategist and Andrea Rai, senior manager, both members of the Strategic Markets team,” confirmed Rick Ranft, senior director of Strategic Markets, Enterprise Managed Services Division, Canon Solutions America.

In addition to insightful presentations on the evolution of print management, the Strategic Markets team discussed the innovations surrounding the world of managed print services and showcased the Enterprise Managed Services Division’s commitment to building solutions customized to the complex needs of Higher Education customers.
